Anybody else take generic meds?

I take Methylin (generic for Ritalin) I take 10 mg. 3 times daily. I have never taken the regular Ritalin, so I can't compare them, but this has worked fine for me. Good luck.

I don't know what the generic-approval system is in Canada, but in the US despite what the FDA says I believe that there can be a difference between generic medications and brand-name. I'm not saying generics are bad, I think its great to have cheaper options and most of the time they are okay for people.

Fillers can be different in generics than brand-name, so your body may react differently to the fillers. That may be why you have a different taste in your mouth.

I had to change from concerta to ritalin because it is cheaper on my plan.

just a little update!! i had to stop taking the generic concerta there was something in the dye that was making me very sick to my stomach.. so we either take the real concerta or i am going to have switch the drug totally.. I go in a couple of weeks to see the doctor again.

i am feeling weird... I will give it a couple of days more to see if i can get used to it.
