Have you been to your doctor? Read any of the recommended books on this site for a way forward? There is no easy answer or solution as we are all so individual. I would advise speaking to a professional or seeking out a local support group.
Try to do your research when you see a doctor. Many of them do still believe the myth that ADD/HD is simply a kids disease, that women cannot get it (like Autism that it's somehow more likely in boys although that's not entirely true either) If you are in Therapy ask your therapist if they can recommend your a doctor or if they can write a referral (that includes you symptoms they have witnessed/diagnosed). If you're not in Therapy, you may want to consider going.I know it might be embarrassing and there are a lot of stereotypes about Therapy out there but none of them are true.Even if you find a doctor or psychiatrist who will treat your ADD/HD,Medication alone will not help you.At least not completely.a combo of cognitive behavioral Therapy and Meds is most effective and can help you manage symptoms easier or find ways to work around them. The chadd.org is a good source as well, they can refer you to sites that let you look up doctors/therapists/Psychs in your area and their field of expertise.I know it is hard but please do not get discouraged,it takes some time to find the right professionals to help you.I have been through 10 Therapists and 3 doctors before I found what works for me.Good luck
Yeah definitely let us know how it goes,we wish you the best, don't give up that's the most important part
