For me, Jo Ellen, I have to be in the mood and then I tend to hyper-focus so much so that I had problems stopping. At one time, I'd be so focused on a project I could go two or three days without…Continue

I want to open up a discussion about 'creative block', which many artists struggle with off and on during their artistic lives; some more than others. Is it just an ADHD thing? Or does ADHD just make…Continue

As you can tell my mind works faster then my fingers. I meant to say: Then, stop back here...
And, I will let your in on a little secret. I am not as fearless as I would like to believe I am. It's a goal I have set for myself when it comes to my expressing myself through my art & fiber work.
Right now, life has gotten in the way -- long story.
No problem posting to the whole group. New discussions are always welcome. Welcome to both our new members, hiduur & Debbie.
It you have pictures of your artwork, please feel free to start an 'Album' in the photo section of the forum. Let stop back here and let us know what your Album's name is, so we all can take a peek. Also, send out a shout when you have added something new. We all enjoy new 'eye-candy'.
Jo Ellen, Towanda, your fearless leader on the Artist & ADD board.

Comment by Bette on June 7, 2011 at 10:26am Hi Everyone--
Kelly, I love your art! More, more!! :)
Ladies, I recently mentioned the technique called EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) and this morning I found an article about a little boy who uses it to help him with his ADHD. His teacher was so impressed by his improved performance and wanted to know what this tapping was all about! Read the article about the little boy at: http://www.eftuniverse.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=ar...
Personally, I use EFT for everything now -- anxiety, worry, stress, pain, etc. Last week I used it to get thru my anxiety of cleaning for a house full of guests and a huge graduation party for my daughter. It helped me feel calmer so I didn't procrastinate as much as usual.
There are alot of personal success stories at this website, too. I'm trying it because I figure what have I got to lose. Its time I get on with my life and my art and its so simple, even I can do it every day. I'm hopeful EFT can work for my art endeavors. And now that my daughter's graduation is over and guests are gone, I can get serious about tapping specifically for my art and I will share my art successes.
Bette.
