Comment by Gillian on October 29, 2011 at 5:34pm Hi, the support group in Central Scotland is well attended and members of it have also set up a charity called Addressing the Balance which has presented a petition to the Scottish Parliament, aiming to get a diagnosis and treatment pathway set up for adults in Scotland. The NICE guidelines don't hold here, of course.
See their websites:
Social meetings are the first Thursday of every month in Espresso Mondo, Lothian Road, Edinburgh, and there are often 12 or 15 people there.
Might give you some ideas of what you can do in Guildford.

Comment by Milly on October 29, 2011 at 10:38am Hi to you all. I'm near Guildford, in my 60s, diagnosed mid 50's. I'm interested in ADD and retirement and in forming support groups in my area. There seems to be precious little help for mums, teens, uni students, adults in our area. Anyone know of any resources we could plug into?
