ADHD and auditory processing

I was diagnosed with ADHD about 13 years ago... and my daughter was diagnosed around 6 years ago when she was 8. She is now 14. She seems to really have a difficult time listening and understanding messages. Messages that are not extremely interesting or extremely simple and short get entirely lost.
