LOL! Y'all are making me feel better. I didn't change my name the first time I got married, and it definitely made things easier. I did this time, and the details are driving me nuts. I just remarried in March, and I couldn't put changing the impor…

I love this site! It's been three years and I'm glad to hear I'm not alone in this. I did the important things, but everything else just seems like it's too much effort. My grocery store rewards card is still under my maiden name and it makes me lau…

Hey, this is familiair. I got married and I use my husbands name, but I never made it official. That's not necessary in my country, I can use his name in my everyday life. But I still have to get another passport.

It's been 7 months and I still haven't changed mine. Mostly because I can't decide what to do, I'm thinking about hyphenating which will be complicated but it just feels right. Our family name dies out with my generation so I feel like hyphenating w…

OMG... I think you were just reading my mind... I have been secretly crying inside wondering how I am going to survive, will I get myself so stressed out over everything that it will affect my pregnancy, etc... I am wondering if I am going to have t…

PS--while pregnant I was also on supplemental progesterone and noticed that my thinking was clearer than normal and I really liked it. I'm not sure if that was from the progesterone or just from being pregnant. Either way, being pregnant was far eas…

I dropped the meds a month before trying to conceive and downsized my life to minimize stress. While pregnant I felt great and didn't really miss the meds and have done pretty well until the last few months (Baby Boy is now nearly 2) and I think tha…

I became pregnant September 2008 and had to drop my Adderrall. I was nervous as well, but during the pregnancy my ADHD symptoms seemed to be minimized. I agree about the exercise. I also streamlined my life. Only work and home responsibilities. NO V…

I think that I am more "whole-brained" and equally adept at both modes of thinking. I have always excelled in both match and science and I have a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering. However, unlike a majority of the other people I went to college with (…

Jessica - Last night I actually got a decent night sleep. Except for the clunking of shoes and talking and car doors/engines of neighbors. But those noises weren't enough to keep me awake for long. A couple nights ago, I was awake past midnight. My brain just aswirling in thoughts, worries, anxieties, sadness, depression. But the one thing that has made a significant difference is that I turn my clock around so I can't see what time it is if/when I wake up in the middle of the night. Then I'm not so fixated on the time. You might want to try it. Granted, it's not a cure all but it helps so much with that emotional connection to insomnia.
