Strattera + Adderall vs. Adderall Only

Jen, I remember that when my son switched from Adderall to Strattera, his Dr. kept him on the two meds together for at least two weeks (but I am thinking it was perhaps more like 30 days), mainly bec…

You roar!! Love the detail. What do you use as a sealer? My daughter has painted on terra cotta, but the water soaked through it and the paint crumbled off. Maybe it was the paint she used. Did you use acrylic or oil? Jo Ellen

I do this too. I am scared to death of having moles removed & of having to get stitches (the removing of the stitches is what totally freaks me out). I know they are irrational fears & not a big deal.. but I obsessed about them (hyper-focused as oth…

Patti, and the rest of you, thank you for the advice you gave to Manda Joy. I realize now why my life is slightly less chaotic yet my husband is more verbally abusive since I have been on meds for ADHD. I remember how amazing it felt as the fog slow…

Margaret, good for you to force yourself to get up and walk when you would rather not. This reminds me of an article I read awhile back about a psychologist with ADHD who earned his degree by scheduling his classes with intervals in between during w…

I have come back to this thread a few times but it just hit me that I have the same fears about anxiety meds. (just realized how ironic that sounds - too anxious to take anxiety meds?) The reason I say this is because one of the responses concerned…

Jo Ellen, thanks for the compliment about the post. My normal speech is not at all like the way I write. I tend to just blurt out what is in my head. But it seems that when I write, I have this annoying compulsion to search for just the right word.…

Hey, Jo: I can't send you any personal messages until you either confirm my invite to be a friend from Aug 27th or you invite me to be added to your friend list. I figured we could do this over a virtual cup of tea.

You can also send me private email to:

Love the pictures. I really like the heads you did & there is something about that bunny. I see I sent you an invitation for you to be added to my friend list back in August, but you never confirmed. I don't know if I can send you another one. I'll try.
Talk to you later. Naptime!

Hi Jo!
Yes, I am now back in Kettering, OH living near T&C Shopping Center! My grandson is now 14! I just got back from Wash. DC area today. Went to visit the Amen Clinic there and had the brain scans! I definitely found out I have ADHD, gone untreated for years! Now, I suffer from right brain atrophy, from years of ADHD anxiety!!! Throw in a little brain trauma and the fact that the one part of the brain is way too active! I had had enough of this craziness and was willing to go and put myself through the grueling tasks necessary for the brain scans! Also, to find a way to pay for the whole thing, plus plane and hotel fees, tips, etc. etc. etc etc!!! I was in Xenia last November at the local tea room celebrating my birthday by myself! Have you ever been over there and what end of Xenia do you live in? My life has been one gigantic tidal wave after another, so I am hoping to calm it down. I am tired of feeling too deeply, knowing too much, and seeing too much!!!!
Maybe you would like to meet at the Tea Room in Nov and celebrate?
Sandy H.
