I DON'T MEEN TO SOUND LIKE A PANZY OR A WOSS!!!

BUT SOMETIMES ITS JUST SO HARD TO KEEP UP WITH A WORLD THAT SEEMS TO FLY BY ME IN EVERYTHING THAT (THEY) DO DAILY! I AM 28, LIVE WITH ADHD, AND STILL HAVE BEEN TRYING TO CATCH UP FROM A REALLY BIG SET BACK IN MY LIFE! STATISTICS SHOW THAT I AM AGAINST ALL ODDS BECAUSE OF WHERE I COME FROM THE SETTING I WAS BROUGHT UP IN THE LFE THAT I HAVE BEEN GIVEN AND THE LIFE I CHOSE TO TAKE INSTEAD1! DESPITE ALL OF THE SET BACKS IT'S HARDER AND HARDER EACH DAY FACING THEM! I KNOW I WILL NOT EVER CATCH UP, BUT THERE HAS TO BE SOME WAY I CAN AT LEAST GET CLOSER THEN I AM!

What do you think when you hear a beauty queen confess she doesn't think of herself as attractive? Doesn't it leave you flabbergasted? Surely she is cognizant of how others behave and the double takes, right? Yet, my natural beauty, sister- in- law, once told me she feels ugly sometime. She looks good just waking up in the morning with bedhead!

The point is, negative self-talk can cloud and destroy the good things you do have. Ask those you trust and other 'safe' people to list your attributes. My husband and I did this at a marriage class. A couple stood up and while one took notes, the other stood silently before the other couples as they called out descriptive words. This was after a 6 week intimate setting where shared a great deal about ourselves and marriages. I re-read the list last night and was reminded of all the good things they saw in me! Now, I'm creating a collage of images, words and objects that fire me up, define my beliefs, faith and keep me focused on what's good.

This is really important for me because I was fired recently without an explanation other than 'it's not working out'. I've had so many jobs I don't have the fingers and toes to count! Yet, I believe, by focusing on my strengths (the words others used to describe me), learning new skills and finding a supportive manager, I can thrive in a new environment.

Winners keep getting back up after kissing the canvas.

Hi there:) I feel compelled to help you relax..soak your feet...pamper yourself for a couple of minutes:) Im 54...been around the block a few times..have 7 kids..13 grands....my life has been interesting..you might say 'we' put the 'fun' in dysfunctional..having said that, I just want you to know that I and many others relate to you.
..at 54,,here is my 'vast' experience lol...No. 1..you are WAY to hard on yourself...your are 28...and I venture to guess you are much stronger than you give yourself credit for
..No. 1..Take time to 'go through the setback'..let some other things go. Im not just saying that..I mean it..sit down..and clear out the mental crap...and take care of important things..start small:)

No. 3...you dont have to be 'caught up'...here's the real deal..noone is ever really caught up....it can be nice, though, if life feels 'manageable'...Start small...start today...
..and LAST>>BUT NOT LEAST...I saved the hardest one for last....Change your 'inner' talk...really try to have a positive outlook..and boy I know that sounds corny...but it works. Noone will give you confidence in yourself but you. Go easy on yourself...Remember..you dont have to be 'caught up'....work on 'manageable'...good luck.:)
